The Siren

Sirens are well known creatures in the classical mythology of Ancient Greece and Rome. Described as monsters, half bird and half woman, they look much like Harpies. Their name means something like, ‘to bind’, ‘with a rope draws’. This refers to the myth that Sirens would lure sailors with their beautiful songs.....
