This is just a small word of thanks to thank ^snocookie05 (snocookie05.deviantart.com/) for suggesting one of my shadow puppets for a DD. She really puts a lot of time and energy in participating in Deviant art groups and does a lot to promote the work of other Deviants. These are the kind of people that makes this "online community" so warm and welcome and for that I would like to thank her!

Hello old and new friends!
After three years of silence (and facing some hard times for those wondering what happened) I finally pulled myself together and decided to pick it all up again. With 'it' I mean, papercutting, drawing, shadow puppetry and continuing selling my work on Etsy etc.
But also I would love to pickup on old friends again and hopefully make some new friends as well here on DA

The Sketchbook Project
I finally have some time to tell you all about my latest project! It is a small project which I only did for fun's sake and also because I wanted to get my mind off of things during these busy months.
As usual I focused on the folklore theme, in this case Dutch folklore, but let me first tell you a bit about the project itself.

It has been a while since I have spoken with you all about the Tell me a story - project. I know some of you might even have had doubts if the book was ever going to be published.
But I can assure you all the book is now almost finnished and we are very close to the publishing date.
I probably don't need to tell you that self-publishing is a lot of work if done properly and of course I wanted to do it properly. That is why I decided not to do it all on my own, instead I have been working with several people: proofreaders, editors and a most talented graphic designer.
