Deviation Actions
This is just a small post I am writing to let you all know I will be leaving Holland and spend the next two weeks in Southern France. It is going to be a trip filled with legends, myths and mysterious cults!
I am taking my journal and drawing tools with me so I can make illustration of the stories I find during this trip and keep a journal of all the things I have seen and heard.
So, do come back and take a peek after a week or two, because I will be putting fragments of my travel-journal on Deviant art and my blog and you can read about the many legends I encountered and see the sketches I have made.
Also, an update of my book will follow and maybe I can show you all some tiny details of the cover design.....

Hello old and new friends!
After three years of silence (and facing some hard times for those wondering what happened) I finally pulled myself together and decided to pick it all up again. With 'it' I mean, papercutting, drawing, shadow puppetry and continuing selling my work on Etsy etc.
But also I would love to pickup on old friends again and hopefully make some new friends as well here on DA
When I came back here my ' inbox' was overflowing and I just don't see how I could read, let alone answer, all those messages. So my sincere appoligies for not replying.... However, all new messages will receive a most warm welcome and I'll always try to answer.

The Sketchbook Project
I finally have some time to tell you all about my latest project! It is a small project which I only did for fun's sake and also because I wanted to get my mind off of things during these busy months.
As usual I focused on the folklore theme, in this case Dutch folklore, but let me first tell you a bit about the project itself.
The Sketchbook Project:
The Sketchbook Project, an initiative of Art House, is a collaboration of artists who submit their sketchbook in order to create the largest traveling sketchbook library in the world. Thousands of sketchbooks will be exhibited at galleries and museums as they make their way on tour across the

This is just a small word of thanks to thank ^snocookie05 (http://snocookie05.deviantart.com/) for suggesting one of my shadow puppets for a DD. She really puts a lot of time and energy in participating in Deviant art groups and does a lot to promote the work of other Deviants. These are the kind of people that makes this "online community" so warm and welcome and for that I would like to thank her!
Also I would like to thank all my new watchers and all people who took the the time to comment on my work and for all the favs!
